ACT: Motorcyclist dies after crash
CANBERRA, April 2 AAP - A motorcyclist has died in hospital from injuries sustained
in an accident in Canberra's northern suburbs.
An ACT Policing spokesman said the 33-year-old man from McKellar fell from his motorbike
after travelling at high speed around a corner on Strayleaf Crescent, Gungahlin, about
3.10pm (AEST) yesterday.
He suffered serious injuries and was treated by paramedics before being transported
to hospital in a critical condition.
He died a short time later.
The accident brings the ACT's road toll this year to five.
